Nathaniel S. Weyant
DIED.
WEYANT. -- At his residence in this city, on Wednesday morning, July 10th, at 9 o'clock, after a long and painful sickness from chronic disease and Bright's disease of the kidneys, Mr. Nathaniel S. Weyant, aged 33 years and 11 days.
LINES TO HIS MEMORY.
Husband, farewell; no more I'll see
The one who was dear to me.
Farewell! Henceforth I'm all alone,
My dearest earthly friend is gone.
Friends and physicians could not save
My darling husband from the grave;
Nor can the grave confine him there
When Christ shall bid him to appear.
I've taken now the last fond look
And said the last farewell
I yield my precious one to earth
And sound his funeral knell.
With bursting heart I give him up,
My angel dear, farewell;
The pain and grief he felt in life
No mortal tongue can tell.
Mrs. N. S. W.
