Carl Wasserman
CHESTERTON CHIPS
Carl Wasserman, of Muskegon, Mich. is one more victim to give up his life for trying to ride on the Michigan Central tracks awheel, Sunday morning he passed through Porter, and had gone east. When about one mile east of New Buffalo, he was run down by the east-bound Boston special, due there about 12:30, and instantly killed. The train was stopped and the remains taken to New Buffalo, where they were identified by papers in the clothing, and were shipped to Muskegon. Wasserman was on a wheeling tour from Milwaukee to Muskegon. A wheelman courts death by riding on the railroad right of way, and the law should be enforced to protect people against themselves. Hardly a week passes but what someone is killed or maimed on the Central tracks.
