FUNERAL OF MRS. EMMA VANSELOW TOMORROW
(From Monday's Daily)

The funeral of Mrs. Emma Vanselow, who met her death near South Laporte last Friday night, will be held at the Burdick M. E. church tomorrow afternoon and Rev. C. A. Brown, of Lafayette, former pastor of the Chesterton church, will officiate. Interment will be in the Chesterton cemetery.

Both Motorman R. Berlin and Conductor George Cole, who were on the interurban that killed Mrs. Vanselow, went to Laporte yesterday and testified at the coroner's inquest. Berlin stated that the woman came out into the glare of the headlight, signaled for a stop, and then remained there as if transfixed. He blew the whistle frantically but with no effect. Passengers on the car heard the warnings of the motorman.

Mrs. Vanselow was born at Otis, Aug. 16, 1862. Besides her husband, she leaves four children, Mrs. Otto Rozean, near Laporte; Mrs. Clara Bauer, hear Westville; Grace Vanselow, at home, and Otto Vanselow, a student at a college at Angola, Ind.
