(From Friday's Daily)
Through a letter received by his sister, Mrs. James Anderson, of Tassinong, Heber Stoddard, of this city, has just learned of the death of his brother-in-law, Lieutenant Ennis Van Dolson, at San Jose, Cal., which occurred on January 12th. Mr. Van Dolson was the husband of Miss Olive Stoddard, who survives him, besides three children born to them. Mr. Van Dolson went out of this city during wartimes as a volunteer in a regiment of Illinois cavalry, of which Col. N. J. Bozrath was also a member. He lived here for some time after the war and then moved to Kansas, from which place he removed to California.
