TALK OF THE TOWN
Tuesday morning extra freight train No. 503 struck and unknown man in the Chesterton yards near the Hillstrom Organ factory and seriously injured him. He was hurt about the head. Nothing on his person was found that would reveal his identity. He was taken to Harrigan hotel and placed under the care of Dr. Corey. Wednesday morning at six o'clock he died and Coroner Coates was notified to come and hold an inquest. That official was ill, and Undertaker Lundburg took charge of the remains to await the arrival of the deputy coroner.
