Mrs. Jacob Thune
DIED.
Sunday evening, February 12, 1882, at her residence on College Hill, Mrs. Jacob Thune, aged sixty eight years.
Mrs. Thune was born in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany, in 1814. She was married to Jacob Thun in 1843, and, in 1865, emigrated to American with her husband and family, coming direct to Valparaiso, where she has since lived. Mrs. Thun was held in high esteem by all who knew her and a large circle of friends mourn her departure. She had been a sufferer for several weeks until she quietly fell asleep and peacefully passed away to the great unknown. She leaves behind, her husband and three children, two sons Henry and Jacob, and one daughter, Mrs. John Bruhn. Her funeral services were conducted by Rev. Lang from the Lutheran church, yesterday, at two o'clock, p. m.
