IN AND ABOUT CHESTERTON.
The funeral of Jacob Thun occurred at 2 p. m. yesterday at the German Lutheran church. A very large concourse of friends, including the entire fire department of the city, in uniforms, followed his remains to the cemetery. Mr. and Mrs. Miller, Mrs. Frick and Mrs. Burgwedel with their children, all of Chicago, the ladies being the three living sisters of Thun, were present at the funeral. Mrs. Frick having bought a most beautiful floral piece. -- Vidette.
