Charles Sydon
Joy's Run Items.
Chas. Sydon, whom the telegraph calls Zdow, a merchant at Lake Station, has been quite intemperate the last two years, and apprehensive that some one would kill him for his money. Saturday he sent his daughter who keeps house for him to see his sister in the country, and at night arranged a rope around his neck so that if shooting should not kill him it would choke him, and then sitting on the bed, shot out his brains and died apparently without a struggle. He had told his daughter that some papers would be found for her at Crown Point. He was buried Monday by the I. O. O. F., to which order he belonged.
