Charles Swanson

PORTER POINTERS
Charles Swanson, a former resident of Gilbertsville, and a son of the late Joseph Swanson, died at the Augustana hospital, Chicago, Monday night, as a result of an operation to cut out an abcess behind the ear. Mr. Swanson was about 28 years of age, unmarried and held the position of city salesman for the Budlong Pickle company. He was a member of the Masonic order holding the thirty second degree, and a young man holding high rank in social and business circles. His remains were brought ot Porter Thursday on the 1 o'clock train, and the funeral services conducted at the Baillytown church, and the remains buries in the Swedish Lutheran cemetery. His death is generally mourned. He leaves three sisters and two brothers to mourn his loss.
