Mrs. A. E. Stowell
THREE HOMES VISITED BY DEATH ANGEL
(From Saturday's Daily)
Mrs. A. E. Stowell.
News of the death of Mrs. A. E. Stowell, well known here, was received this morning by W. L. Stimson, Mrs. D. A. Starr, and others who had been closely allied with her family while it resided near Kouts. Death was due to a stroke of apoplexy Feb. 15, while Mrs. Stowell was at Whiting for a visit with her son, Starr. Death came to end her days there yesterday morning.
The body will be brought here tomorrow afternoon at 3 o'clock, over the Pennsylvania, for interment in Maplewood beside the husband and daughter, who preceded her in death. Many of the friends here will meet the mourners at the station.
Mrs. Stowell was about 70 years old. Following the death of her husband and the sale of the farm, about fourteen years ago, she went to Coldwater, Mich., to reside with her son, Samuel. The two sons are the only survivors of the family.
