Edwin Stowe
LOCAL.
A young man named Edwin Stowe, who has been in the employ of Mr. George Bean, at Valparaiso, for some months past, but whose parents reside north of Plymouth, committed suicide last night by swallowing a couple ounces laudanum. The sad affair occurred in Plymouth, -- the deceased having come back on a visit a day or two previously. It is supposed that he was impelled to commit the rash act by disappointment in a love affair.
