DIED.
STONER. -- Rebecca Stoner, in the twentieth year of her age, of consumption, Wednesday December 7, Miss Rebecca Stoner, the residence of her father, Jacob Stoner, in this city.
Miss Stoner has been sick six weeks past, being confined to the house the greater part of the time. In her brief illness she has suffered much. Death is a sad experience at any period of life, but especially so when coming to the young. Miss Stoner belonged to the Christian church, of which she was a devoted and consistent member. She was prepared for death and met the dread messenger with a Christian fortitude. She was buried last Thursday at the cemetery near the Christian church on Morgan Prairie. At this church her funeral was preached by Rev. Davis of this city. Her death is mourned by a large circle of friends who know and appreciate her good qualities, and whose consolation is that she is on the better shore wiating to greet them when to each the end of life shall come.
