John Stephens
LOCAL.
The funeral service of Mr. John Stephens, which took place from the M. E. church Sabbath morning, was very largely attended. Mr. Stephens was one of the oldest residents of our city, and had raised a large family of children who are now grown to man and womanhood, and each well advanced in the honorable walks of life; a family of which the father had much reason to be proud. His sudden death was a terrible blow, and the grief stricken widow and children have the sincere sympathy of this entire community.
