GRIP TAKES OLD HEBRON RESIDENT YESTERDAY

After an illness with the grip of only twelve hours, Charles Schopf, 78 years old, of Hebron, died there yesterday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Charles Ogden, with whom he had resided since the death of his wife some years ago. Mr. Schopf was a retired farmer, and during part of his life he was a railroader. Mrs. Ogden and Mrs. John Griffith, the latter of Kouts, are the only surviving children. He leaves besides seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild, his namesake. Mr. Schopf was born in Germany.
