HEBRON MASONS CONDUCT FUNERAL RITES HERE

Hebron Masons came in a body to this city today and conudcted ritual services for the funeral of John Sams, held this afternoon at the Christian church, where Rev. H. C. Brown preached the sermon in the presence of a crowded house. The Valparaiso lodge joined the Hebron order at the Masonic hall and marched to the home, and then to the church. Pallbearers were chosen from the ranks of Masonary. Interment was in the Graceland mausoleum. Scores of friends of Mr. Sams came here from the south part of the county and joined the other mourners in the last sad rites. As Mr. Sams was a Woodman, as well as a Mason, that order was also largely in evidence at the services.
