HEART TROUBLE AND OLD AGE CAUSE DEATH
(From Monday's Daily)
Mrs. Angeline Salmon, 85 years old, died at the home of her son, S. J. Salmon, at some time during Saturday night, and her dead body was discovered in her room yesterday morning when members of the family sought the reason for her delay at breakfast. Death was due to heart trouble and old age. Mrs. Salmon had been as well as usual the day previous, consequently her sudden demise was a great shock to her family and many friends. The body was taken to Princeton, Ill., her old home, this afternoon for burial to-morrow.
Mrs. Salmon passed thirteen years of her life at Laporte. She had resided her only a few months. Only two children survive -- the son here, and J. B. Salmon, of Princeton. One sister, Mrs. Elmira Salmon, lives at Flanders, N. J. The husbands of the women were cousins.
