Lewis Sabinsky
CHESTERTON CHIPS
While in Logansport the other day after the remains of Lewis Sabinsky, Mr. Lundberg made inquiries regarding some of the patients in the asylum from Chesterton. He says the doctor in charge of Lucy Taylor says she is doing nicely, is well contented and has no desire to leave the place. Old Chas. Sell, who a great many Chesterton people will remember, is still confined and is improving. A great many people believe that Mr. Sell died some time ago, but this is erroneous. Swan Hjelm has been there so short a time that no change is yet noticeable.
Word was received last Saturday of the death of Lewis Sabinsky, at the Longcliffe asylum, Logansport, caused by Recissant Mania, after being confined in the institution for eight years. Undertaker Lundberg brought the remains to Chesterton Tuesday morning and the funeral was held the same afternoon from the German Lutheran church, Rev. Ehwald officiating. The deceased was a brother of Wm. Sabinsky, who was killed on the Lake Shore road near Chesterton about two months ago. He was 41 years old and unmarried. The cause of his insanity was brought on by a railroad accident on the Michigan Central about ten years ago near Hammond.
