DOINGS AT HOME.
DIED. -- On Saturday April 21, Ida Dahlberg, step-daughter of John Lindstrom, of membraneous croup, aged 12 years. The following day, Lydia, the 11 year old daughter of Mrs. Mary Peterson, living neighbors to Mr. Lindstrom, died of the same disease. The funeral of both children took place on Tuesday, April 24. Every effort was made to save the lives of the children, and especially of the Dahlberg girl. Dr. Yohn of Valparaiso was called to consult with home physicians, and a tube was introduced into the child's throat, but beyond slight temporary relief, no benefit was derived from the experiment.
