WHEREAS, In the death of Jacob Paulson, the Valparaiso fire department has sustained the loss of an efficient member and
WHEREAS, Both as an organization and individually we deeply feel the affliction of this bereavement; therefore, be it
Resolved, That we will ever fondly cherish the memory of our fallen friend and brother, holding before us his manly and upright life, and the many traits of character which distinquished him as a good citizen and gallant fireman.
Resolved, That to Jacob Paulson our department is indebted for his faithful and able services rendered; that as a worker for the promotion of our best interest, he deserves our grateful ackowledgments.
Resolved, That to the family and friends of the deceased, we tender this token of our high regard for our departed brother, together with the assurance of our heartfelt sympathy in this hour of affliction and sorrow.
