DIED, on the 4th inst., Wm. Oliver, of consumption. The deceased was about forty years old, and has been affected with consumption three or four years. He moved out west seven or eight years ago. While there his wife died and left him with three small children. He came back after his wife's death, and he and his family and his father have been living with his aunt, Rebecca Lee, who has been a widow for a good many years. The one house has made a home for all three of them. We called after the funeral, and his father said he had buried the last one of his family of four children and his wife, who died long ago, and he had nothing bit those four children to care for any more. We never saw more tears shed at a funeral than was at his. Those three children are left orphans, with no one to care for them but an aged grandfather and his aged sister; but we are glad they seem to have the sympathy of the community. The deceased was a man that was esteemed by all in the community. He was a member of the United Presbyterian church.
