LOCAL.
Several hundred persons attended the funeral services of Mr. Michael O'Connor and the boy Michael Murphy both of which occurred a the same time Friday forenoon from St. Paul's Church. The body of Mr. O'Connor was followed to the church by a long procession of carriages, and the remains of Michael Murphy was borne by six boys and excorted by the Holy Angel Society of which he was a member. The society was organized in January 1876 for the younger members of St. Paul's School. In his sermon Father O'Reilly gave his people much good advice. A very long procession followed the bodies to the last resting place.
