Currence B. Nichols
Died on the 28th ult. at her home in Hebron, Mrs. Currence B. Nichols. She was born in Orange county, N. Y., Feb. 20th, 1811. She was converted and joined the M. E. church before she was 18 years old. She was married to Samuel C. Beebe Jan. 1st, 1835. Soon after her marriage, he being a member of the Presbyterian church, she united with that body. She came to this vicinity in 1842. He husband died in 1846. She lived a widow till April 16, 1873, when she married our venerable citizen Wm. B. Nichols, and soon after rejoined the M. E. church. She leaves to mourn her loss, beside her husband, 3 sons, a large circle of relatives and friends and the church. Her funeral took place from the M. E. church on the 29th ult., conducted by Rev. Dunham, pastor, assisted by Revs. Buchanan and Small.
