Ruth Nelson
Deaths.
Again death has visited the family of Mr. Fred Nelson in Pinney's Park. And this time we all feel that the hand of this friend has been resting heavily upon that dear family for in less than a year four of the members have been removed. First, two bright and sturdy looking children, a boy and a girl 3 and 9 years respectively departed after a short illness. An now the mother and an infant child departed leaving the father and a six year old daughter to mourn their loss.
Mrs. Christina Nelson was born in Sweden May 12th 1861 and died at her home in Chesterton last week Friday from the effects of consumption, at the age of 32 years, 10 months and 4 days. She was a good mother and a true christian.
The funeral was held from the Swedish Lutheran church Sunday afternoon and the remains laid to rest in the Chesterton cemetery.
Ruth, the infant girl, died this week Tuesday of asthma at the age of 3 months and 28 days and was buried Wednesday. Services at the house.
The hearty sympathy of the community is extended to the bereaved father and little daughter.
