RESOLUTIONS OF CONDOLENCE PREPARED BY G. A. R.
Whereas, The Great Supreme Ruler in His great and just wisdom has seen fit to remove from our ranks another honored and beloved comrade, O. L. Moffit, who was a good and faithful husband, father, soldier and citizen, one whom we will sadly miss and whose vacant chair will never be filled as in the past; therefore be it
Resolved, That Chaplain Brown post No. 106, Department of Indiana, G. A. R., realizes that it has lost a kind and noble comrade, one who in his hours of affliction was ever ready and willing to contribute his mite to help the needy and afflicted, and his voice was ever heard on the side of right; and be it further
Resolved, That a copy of these resolutions be spread upon the minutes of this post, a copy sent to the family of the deceased, and the same published in the newspapers of Valparaiso.
