MONDAY
Word has been received at this city of the death of a son of Tom Meadows near Tassinong. It seems the young man was hunting when his gun was discharged, the contents entering his left side in the vicinity of his heart. The report which seems accurate, say the death resulted immediately, but it was impossible to obtain the particulars this morning.
