Mrs. Michael McNamara
Obituary.
Died, on Monday, Feb. 23, Mr. M. McNamara, of Englewood, of lung trouble, in her 60th year.
Deceased was born in Ireland in 1825, and with her husband, Michael McNamara, emigrated to this country in 1855 locating in Chesterton. The family remained in this town about fifteen years after which they removed to Michigan City. They afterwards moved to Englewood, their present home.
Mrs. McNamara was a hard working christian lady, who by her kindly acts made many friends. She was suddenly taken ill on Sunday evening, and died the following day. One of her children was buried here, and in accordance with her wishes her remains were brought here for interment. The funeral was held Wednesday and services held by Father Kroll. The remains were escorted to their last resting-place by a large number of friends both from this place and Englewood. She leaves a husband and one daughter to mourn her loss.
