William Marchant
Coroner's Inquest.
REPORT of the Coroner's Inquest held on Monday, February 8, 1875, over the body of William Marchant, lying dead in Union township, Porter county, Indiana.
The jury impannelled in said case, after being duly sworn, examined the body of said deceased and the premises around, heard the evidence appertaining thereto, and found that said deceased came to his death by hanging himself by the neck, with a rope, to the collar beam of his granary, in said Union township, Monday morning, February 8th, 1875. On his person was found the sum of $92.30 in money, a part of which I used to defray the expenses of said inquest, and committed the residue with the body of the deceased to the charge of his son, the older of his two children.
WM. C. PARAMORE,
