Kosikofski
TALK OF THE TOWN.
Tuesday of this week the two and a half year old child of Mr. Kosikofski, died at its home near City West, of scarlet fever. Physicians report an epidemic of scarlet fever and diptheria in that vicinity, and Wednesday Trustee Wheeler ordered the City West school closed on account of it. The same diseases are also reported raging around Furnessville, and some cases are reported in Chesterton, but as yet there has been but one death. On account of the lateness of the season it is thought the disease will not be severe or necessarily fatal. However, it is well to be careful.
