Mary Ellen Keeler
DIED,
At the residents of her parents in this county, Nov. 2d, Mary Ellen, youngest daughter of Henry & Eliza Keeler aged 1 year.
LINES WRITTEN BY MRS. SKINNER.
M-ore blessed than those who wander here below,
A-nd all life's scenes of sorrowing sadness know,
R-eleased from sickness, care and worldly blight,
Y-e dwell in realms of everlasting light.
E-arly thine earth bound fetters broken ---
K-ind'y the Father called, "Thou child, come here
E-re sin hath power, thine infant mind to sere
E-nter thy rest." The gardner's watchful care,
L-ike a plant, shall guard thee, in a region where,
E-ternal sunshine, shall the bud expand,
R-eplete with beauty, in "that better land."
