NEWS OF THE WEEK.
Died, on Friday, Feb. 27th, of typhoid pneumonia, Elizabeth, wife of Dr. E.J. Jones, at her home in Hageman, aged 67 years. The funeral was held on Monday, March 2nd., services being conducted at the family residence, Rev. B. F. Perrine officiating, and the remains buried in Kimball cemetery. The funeral was largely attended, deceased being one of the early settlers of our county. The children were all present at the funeral. Theo., Will, and Mrs. M. J. Sovereign came from St. Paul, Joe from Kansas City, and Mrs. Laura Terry from Kansas City. Dr. Jones is in very feeble health, and feels the loss of his beloved life partner very keenly. He has the sympathy of the entire community in this, his hour of sorrow.
