DEATH FOLLOWED AMPUTATION.
Richard Johnson, the Colored Man Who Had Both of His Frozen Feet Cut Off Dies at the Hospital.
Richard Johnson, the colored man who had his feet badly frozen at Chesterton by sleeping out of doors all night some time ago and which required the amputation of both feet at St. Joseph Hospital on the 12th, died at the hospital at 6 o'clock Saturday evening. The body was taken to Kroeger & Strain's undertaking establishment to be prepared for burial. The funeral arrangement have not been made. -- Logansport Journal.
