The second tragedy since the Erie railroad began double track building shocked that Village Saturday, when Edward Johnson, a workman on a steam shovel, was run over by a backing train and cut to pieces. The mangled remains were taken to Crown Point, where the inquest was held. Johnson came from Marion, O., and his body was sent there for burial.
