TALK OF THE TOWN
The remains of Mrs. Christena C. Johnson were brought to Chesterton from Chicago for burial Tuesday evening. The funeral services were held in the Swedish Mission church at 10 o'clock Wednesday and conducted by a minister from Pullman. The remains were laid to rest in the Chesterton cemetery. Deceased was 47 years old and had been sick about two weeks. She was the widow of the late Gust Johnson, and had lived in Chesterton for more than 20 years. After the death of her husband, she with her family went to Chicago and kept a boarding house on Wentworth avenue. She leaves three children to mourn her demise.
