Ruth Hollister
DIED, -- Very suddenly, on Friday evening, the 13th inst., at her residence in Union township, Mrs. Ruth Hollister, wife of Gershom Hollister, in the 69th year of her age.
The deceased was a native of the state of Connecticut, but for the last seventeen years has resided in this county. Some 40 years ago she professed faith in Christ, and united with the Presbyterian church. At the time of her death she was a worthy member of that church in this village. Her departure was sudden, but she fell asleep in Jesus. A very large number of her neighbors testified to their esteem for her, by their attendance at her funeral.
