O. S. Hedden
Letters received recently by John Magee from B. F. Hedden, Comwall, Ontario, and Mrs. L. M. Hedden, Westerly, R. I., brother and sister of O. S. Hedden who died this spring at the residence of townsman, Frank Elliott, express thanks to the friends of Mr. Hedden here for their management of his affairs and their care of him in his illness and death; also to Undertaker Lepell for embalming the corpse. The letters testified that Mr. Lepell's work was complete, the body being preserved in perfect condition and presenting a natural and life-like appearance when received for burial eleven days after death in Elmira, New York. This is highly creditable to Mr. Lepell who has given much time and care to the work of embalming the dead. Having succeeded in a case so difficult Mr. Lepell has established an enviable reputation for ability in his line of business.
