Eddie Harrigan
DIED -- On Monday, November 12th, of membraneous croup, Eddie, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Harrigan, aged 5 years, 8 months and 20 days. He was sick three days altoghter. He had an attack of croup the first night, but got apparently well and went to school the day following. He took a relapse, and though physicians did their utmost they could not save the child. Eddie was a universal favorite among those who knew him, and had a winning way that made him friends with all. The funeral took place on Tuesday, the 13th inst. From the Catholic church, and was largely attended. The Chesterton school children attended the funeral in a body. A large number of relatives and friends from Chicago, Fort Wayne, Englewood and Valparaiso came to the funeral. The remains were interred in the family lot in the Catholic cemetery.
