LOCAL.
A daughter, 18 years old, of Elder George C. Harding, editor of the Indianapolis Sunday Herald, confessed to her father last Thursday that she had beed seduced by Joel Moritz, a prominent married man and merchant tailor of that city, and had taken laudanum to destroy her life rather than endure the shame of exposure. The Elder went for Moritz and shot him. The lady died, Moritz dangerously wounded, and Harding arrested.
