Angeline Hamilton
Last Thursday morning Mrs. Angeline Hamilton was found dead in her bed. On Wednesday she felt unusually well, and spent the evening with the family, laughing and in pleasant conversation. About 8 o'clock she retired. The next morning she failed to get up, and one of her sons went to wake her. He found her a corpse, thought the body was still warm. Dr. Marr was summoned, but the old lady was beyond medical aid. At the suggestion fo Dr. Marr an inquest was held, Coroner Letherman was notified, but he could not come, so the duty devolved upon Squire Gondring. It is supposed that Mrs. Hamilton died of apoplexy. She was 67 years of age, widow twice, and them other of a large family, all grown. The remains were buried on Saturday.
