WILLIAM GREEN PASSES AWAY AT COUNTRY HOME

William Green, 45 years old, one of the best known and most popular farmers of Washington township, died at his home yesterday afternoon at 3 o'clock, after a long period of declining health. Christian Science funeral services will be held at the residence Sunday afternoon at 1 o'clock. At the interment at the mausoleum, Graceland cemetery, Rev. T. J. Bassett will officiate.
Mr. Green resided on the old Green homestead, where he was born and reared. He was twice married. His first wife, who had been Miss Abbie Beach, died about nine years ago. By her he leaves three children, all at home, who are Charles, Helen and Earl. A year ago last Thanksgiving he was married to Miss Anna Longletz, at Camp Point, Ill. Marian, a daughter, survives. Mr. Green was a brother of Charles and Lewis Green, Mrs. W. E. Seymour, and Miss Elizabeth Green, all residing here.
