William Glancy
BROTHER OF LOCAL MAN BURIED TODAY AT LAPORTE

The funeral of William Glancy, a prominent Laporte county man and a brother of John Glancy, residing near this city, was held today in Laporte. The death occurred Wednesday in the Laporte hospital. He was born July 13, 1862, in New Durham township. He was married in December, 1882, to Miss Emma Goff. He leaves his wife and one daughter, Mrs. Mabel Weiler. There are three grandchildren. His sisters are Mrs. Margaret Cramer of Chicago, Mrs. Armrod of Racine, Wis. Mrs. John English of Hanna, and Mrs. William Smith of Laporte. His brothers are Thomas, at Westville, Edward, at Monroeville, Ind., John, of this place, and James Glancy of Laporte. Mr. Glancy served as superintendent of the Laporte county farm for one term.
