LOUISE FRASIER.
MEMORIAL.
L isten! What notes are those I hear --
O ne voice, so full of love and cheer,
U ttering, "good morning!" Do I seem
I mpulsive, roused as from a dream?
S ay, is the tone a sound unreal,
E vincing traits of the dead?
F rom vaulted sky,
R e-echoing here,
A note angelic greets my ear --
S o comes to mortals robed in clay,
I nspiring thought, that spirits may
E arth's scenes revisit. Why, then, dread
R emoval, to the Immortal Head?
