The editor is moritifed for several omissions and mistakes he finds to have occurred in the last VIDETTE. Among mere typographic errors which escaped correction, mone miscalled Miss Libby Altman "Mrs." Waiting for a suitable obituary notive from the clergyman officiating at her funeral, we failed entirely in the crowd of business toward the hour of publication to announce Miss Hattie Fraiser's death, which occurred on Saturday the 24th of April, at the age of 21. And this omission we regret the more because the amiable lady and her parents have been our respected friends and neighbors all her lifetime. Yet another oversight was publishing the article "More Spellin," and omitting to account for its appearing so long after the occasion it refers to. It was crowded out for weeks by other items that would spoil by lying over. We have had to keep such matter over as would suffer least by growing stale, and this is why a biographic sketch entitled "The Young Minister" has not yet appeared.
