Clinton Fraiser
Memorial.
On the evening of the 29th of May, at a regular meeting of Che-que-uk Lodge, I. O. O. F., Bro. Block paid a tribute of respect to the memory of one who had long been a member of our order. Bro. Clinton Fraiser more than a year ago severed his connection with the lodge to go to Minnesota and live with his son and friends, on account of his poor health, from consumption, a disease that seemed to be hereditary in the family. For a while his health improved; but the fatal grip was too strong for his material body. On the 18th of May a telegram reported he was dying; and thus one more patriot has gone, and a soldier of the Mexican war and that of the rebellion, a congenial, philanthropic, generous soul will reap his reward.
G. BLOCK,
R. DUNNING, Committee.
