Jake Fox
CHESTERTON CHIPS.
Jake Fox, a well-known resident of this county, was killed by an Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe train at Fourteenth street, Chicago, last Friday. Fox tried to board the train while it was in motion, and fell under the wheels. For two hours after the accident he lay beside the track undiscovered, and was finally found by a night watchman with both legs horribly mangled. He was taken to St. Luke's hospital, where he died Saturday morning. The remains were brought to Valparaiso and the funeral held Monday.
