Michael Falcey

TALK OF THE TOWN
The remains of Michael Falcey, who died in Chicago on February 10th were brought here for burial on the 13th inst. Deceased was raised here and went to Chicago in 1869, where he has since resided. He died of heart trouble, and had been obliged to quit work last June. He was in his 47th year. In 1886 Falcey was badly injured on the Lake Shore road, having an arm, leg and three ribs broken. He never recovered from those injuries and they were really the cause of his death. For the last few years he has been employed as flagman on the Rock Island and lived with his sister, Mrs. Mary O'Connor, 4149 Wentworth avenue, where he died. About thirty relatives and friends accompanied the remains from Chicago, and laid them in the Catholic cemetery. Deceased was a bachelor.
