DIED.
DOTY. -- In Valparaiso, Ind., November 19th, 1874, Reuben Morris Doty, of paralysis, in the 68th year of his age.
The deceased was born in Delaware Co., New York, in the year 1807, and after residing successively in Dutchess county and at Amsterdam in that State, he removed to Racine, Wis., in 1844; to Michigan City, Ind., in 1852; and to Valparaiso in 1865. He was twice married. Was united to his second wife, now his widow, in 1842, at Amsterdam, N. Y. In March 1869 he made a public profession of faith in Christ in the Presbyterian church in Valparaiso, and was sustained by the consolations of that blessed religion during the long and painful illness which ended in his death and release from suffering, after ailing for several years and being confined to his house for nearly two years prior to his decease.
