Henry Dickinson Killed.
Henry Dickinson, a son of Mrs. Dickinson, died last Friday in Chicago. On July 3d last, while employed as a switchman in Chicago, he met with a fatal accident, in which the engineer and fireman were killed outright. He was on an engine which was ascending a steep incline, hauling seven loaded cars. When eighteen feet above ground the engine jumped the track and was completely wrecked. Dickinson lived six days in terrible agony. He leaves a wife and three children. The deceased was raised in this township, but went to Chicago about twenty years ago, where he has since resided. Mrs. Dickinson, Frank and Walter Dickinson, Mr. and Mrs. John Morgan, and Henry Holland, of this place, attended the funeral, which was held in Chicago Sunday, the remains being interred in Mt. Olivet.
