The deceased united with the M. E. church of this place under the ministry of W. P. McKinzie in the year 1870 and has ever since been an active and efficient official member of the society. He fell asleep in Jesus at 7:30 p.m., Oct. 28, 1890. "This is my last, now keep as calm as you can, It will all be over soon." Thus he died as he had lived -- A Christian.
