John Dalton
REPORT OF CORONER'S INQUEST.
State of Indiana, Porter County, SS:
Be it remembered, that on the 23d day of Sept., 1882, information was given to me that the dead body of a boy lay in Center township, in said state and county, supposed to have come to this death by violence of casualty, and to ascertain as so far as possible the cause and circumstances of said death, witnesses were called and sworn, and their material evidence reduced to writing, signed by myself, and filed in the clerk's office of said county.
Whereupon, I find decendent's name was John Dalton, that he was 40 years old, of light complexion, 5 feet 8 inches high, plainly dressed, and that he came to his death from the effects of a continued indulgence in alcoholic liquors, dying in delerium tremens, and his person was committed to the charge of Trustee.
A. P. LETHERMAN,
Coroner of Porter County.
