Charlie Dalkey
COUNTY SEAT NEWS.
About 7 o'clock on Saturday morning the section men on the Chicago & Erie railroad, at Kouts, found the headless body of Charlie Dalkey on the track within one hundred feet of the depot. Dalkey was about 25 years of age, and at one time was engaged in the livery business at Kouts, and was a respected citizen until frunk got the better of him. Last week he received money to go and take the whiskey cure, but instead, spent it for liquor. It is supposed that on his way to his brother-in-laws, Friday night, he was struck by a train with the above results. Coroner Coates was called on Saturday, and held an inquest.
